The Tatum Back-Action Curette & Orban Knife Kit was designed by Dr. Tatum. Instruments 1, 2 & 3 were designed with different widths and angles to elevate palatal periosteum from posterior to anterior. Instrument 4 utilizes angled ends to elevate periosteum on palatal slopes to permit breaking tooth attachments to mobilize tissue. The Orban Knife is utilized to dissect a partial thickness palatal flap from the posterior of the palate forward. This set of 5 instruments comes complete in a user-friendly autoclavable box.
