Gide Plug® Collagen Wound Dressing is a white, porous, pliable and absorbable collagen wound dressing. Gide Plug® Collagen Wound Dressing is fabricated by fibrous collagen matrix purified from bovine origin.
Gide Plug® Collagen Wound Dressing is pliable and can be applied easily to oral wounds to protect the wound bed. The product is supplied in a sterile, non-pyrogenic package, and is indicated for single use only.

Gide Plug® Collagen Wound Dressing is made from high-purity natural type 1 collagen extracted from bovine tendon tissue.

The type-1 collagen plug is the least complex filling material that can be used for management of alveolar ridge preservation.
The pure type-1 collagen plug Gide Plug® has sufficient porosity for post operative blood penetration and promotes socket wound healing by stabilizing the blood clot in the extraction socket, covering the extraction socket and forming new granulation tissue.
